I'm gonna make a list of 10 characters, it is a secret list. If you want, comment to this post with a question like, "2 and 8 have a dance off, who wins?" and then I answer them in a separate post and it is the most fun meme ever. And you can ask as many questions as you like.

ridiculous question: 3 and 7 try to make cupcakes. Discuss

Well, you didn't specify which list, so...

BoB: Welsh and Sobel try to make cupcakes. ...Uh... somehow, I'm picturing Sobel ordering Welsh to make the cupcakes and storming off, wondering just why HQ needs Easy Company to make CUPCAKES when there's training to do. Welsh shakes his head, gets drunk, and has the mess hall do it. The cupcakes are supposedly crap, but everyone loves them. Then Sobel makes the company run Currahee. Twice. Because he hates cupcakes and Randleman.

Hot Fuzz: Andy (Cartwright) and Danny have to make cupcakes for the surprise birthday party Doris is arranging for Nicholas. Naturally, neither of them particularly want to work together and spend the entire time antagonising eachother and just generally not getting work done. They finally give up trying to work together and just drive to the local bakery to get some cupcakes, but not after going through a pack of cigarettes, fifty pounds of change for the cuss jar, and several thrown dustbins.

Star Trek: McCoy and Chekov are making cupcakes. Why? Apparently the Alien of the Week loves desserts and it's the only way to get their away team back in one piece (minus poor Crewman Redshirt, who will be missed by all until next episode). They work surprisingly well together. Chekov comes up with an equation to turn one cupcake into twelve using the transporter, although he had to consult with Scotty on that one. McCoy provides his grandma's secret chocolate cupcake recipe. He also threatens Chekov with a hypospray if he even thinks of claiming cupcakes are a Russian invention, at which point everyone cheers. They make one batch and beam it over to the alien ship using the new equation, resulting in twelve batches. The away team is returned to them, a treaty is signed, and everyone is happy. The End.

Star Trek: What's 8's guilty secret, and what would they do if 3 found out?

Pike's guilty secret? Chekov is actually the result of a torrid affair he had with this brilliant young Russian cadet seventeen years ago; a Miss Katya Chekova. Naturally, McCoy being a doctor, he has access to both Pike's medical history and Chekov's and there's something really rare in both of theirs, so he checks into it, and lo and behold... Pike is none too pleased that someone found out, because he's kept it hidden all these years, so he goes to talk to McCoy about the merits of McCoy not saying anything. Bones, being the intelligent and circumspect man that he is, already figured out that he should probably keep his mouth shut. The agreement is made amicably.

BoB: 1 and 6 play a prank on 4. What horrors ensue?

So that's Evans and Lipton playing a prank on Winters. Well, it's April Fools Day, and who better to prank than Winters? However, Evans and Lipton are probably the worst pranking team in history. Evans is too much of a stickler for the rules, and Lipton is just too mellow. However, he has an idea, and he needs Evans to pull it off. Mainly because Evans is the only one he can think of who can imitate Sobel's handwriting and potentially not get in trouble for it.

Winters is very frightened by the love letter from Sobel. They consider their mission a success.

Hot Fuzz: 4 and 5 bake a cake. Does it taste any good, and why the hell are they baking a cake in the first place?

Andy (Wainwright) and Doris are baking a cake for Andy's (Cartwright) birthday, of course! It ends up being tasty and delicious. Mostly because Andy did the baking. Doris just paid for the supplies. The last time she baked anything, it was more fit for use as charcoal than as a comestible.

For Star Trek: 2&6, 3&1 go on a double date. Which couple ends up having the night of their life, and which one ends up the 'fail' (if you will) couple that end up just not wanting to look at each other again?

Kirk and Spock, and Bones and Scotty go out on a double date. Strangely, Kirk and Spock end up having the night of their lives. Admittedly, that may have been helped by the fact that they went out for Mexican and no one told Spock that mole sauce is made with chocolate, but that's not the point. They manage to have stimulating conversation and stimulating activities later. The next day, neither of them really have any regrets, as evidenced by the fact that Spock would like to have more sex, only not under the influence of chocolate, and Kirk is more than happy to oblige.

McCoy and Scotty end up spending most of the date pining over Chekov... until they figure out they're pining over the same person. At which point, they're both drunk enough to get into a fight, although McCoy starts it, as it takes a lot more than being interested in the same person for Scotty to start a fight. Scotty wins, as he can hold his liquor better. Admittedly, it's because McCoy took one swing and promptly keeled over. Scotty takes him back to the ship, gets him tucked in and hyposprayed against a hangover, and then heads to Chekov's room to have a talk with the lad...

For Hot Fuzz: 2&4 adopt a baby. What do they end up naming it?

Frank Butterman and Andy (Wainwright) adopt a baby. Or, at least, they try to. Until whatever the British equivalent of Social Services figures out that this is THE Frank Butterman, who headed the Neighbourhood Watch Assosciation Cult that went around murdering people. At which point, they are denied. Meanwhile, the entire police station and town is disgusted by the fact that those two were apparently lovers and Andy didn't know anything about what Frank was doing (not that anyone else knew any better either). To quote Danny, "YOU DID WHAT WITH MY DA?! UGH!"

For BoB: 4&9 go on an LSD trip (THIS TOTES HAPPENED). What do they hallucinate about?

Winters and Peacock somehow find LSD about two decades ahead of schedule. Damn plotholes. It's what happens when a foxhole gets shelled one too many times without the occupants dying, apparently. They hallucinate about dancing Nazis, women in skimpy outfits representing stereotypical aspects of German culture such as beer and pretzels, women dressed in pin-up style Nazi uniforms, all of them singing about it being spring or summer for Germany and Hitler in time with the shelling going on. Also, something about winter for France, which is really eerily accurate given how cold it is. They end up doing a Rockette-style dance during their trip. At which point, they are forced back into a foxhole and sedated. Their stamps are all confiscated, as the last person to see them before they went crazy saw them licking stamps.

The stamps are soon found to be the cause after several other people experience extreme hallucinations upon licking the stamps. No one knows what about the stamps causes it, but they assume that a man such as Winters would not do such things on purpose, so they let him retain his position. Peacock too. HQ is in a good mood.
